How does the treasure hunt work?
It’s super simple and totally free to join! I’ve written a short story about a kookaburra, and the story contains clues to a real treasure hidden somewhere in Aura. It’s a one-page story that contains all the clues needed to lead you to one final treasure.

Where’s the treasure?
Well, I can’t tell you exactly, but it’s somewhere within Aura.
Note: the treasure is not buried, on private property, in or under water, in a cemetery, or hidden in a dangerous location. It’s outdoors in a safe, public, place, and there’s no equipment required or specialised knowledge needed.
Does it cost money to participate?
Nope! I made it for fun and it’s completely free.
How long is the story?
It’s only one page!
Why do I have to provide my email?
An email’s required to download the story just so I can keep everyone updated on the status of the hunt (if the treasure’s been found!).
Can I just download the story once then share it with friends and family?
You can, but it’s better that everyone downloads the story individually. This gives me an idea of how many people are interested – if there’s enough, there’s a possibility we can do another one in the future!
Will I like the story even if I don’t want to participate in the treasure hunt, or if the treasure’s been found?
Probably so! It’s a cute story about a kookaburra who wants to find the courage to leave her old tree and move to a new home.
Why did you create this?
A really long time ago, my parents told me about a children’s storybook that contained clues to a real life treasure hidden within its pages and illustrations. I thought this concept was so cool… Now I want to give others the thrill, excitement, and “a-ha!” moments that come with solving a puzzle and finding a treasure in the real world.
Anything else we should know?
There’s just one prize, and whoever solves the clues and gets to it first is the finder and gets to keep it. It’s considered a gift from me to the finder. From there, the finder can do whatever they’d like with it.
